Day of Death

There are several parts that make up this product, each part attracts a human cost and price for making the resources.  Waka, (transporter) pouaka tio (ice box)  whariki (mat) mahunga (head peice) taura (rope) is part of that job.  Harvesting and manufacturing at the time of death is a component of the process that requires a spiritual connection with the dead and the atua. A team is required, this is provided by the family, oversight of process and workmanship will be guided by our team from Kahu Whakatere Tupapaku.
